Part 01 / The Introduction
Hi, my name is Neo, and I'm 32 years old. Today, I stand as a proud representative and House Manager at Victory Village Sober Living Community.
Part 02 / The First Misstep
I was raised in a loving home by parents who gave me every opportunity to build a meaningful life. But at the age of 11, a curiosity towards pornography became the first step down a road that would eventually consume my life.

Part 03 / The Downward Spiral
By the age of 16, I had started smoking cannabis, and from there I fell into the wrong crowd, a life of crime, and an addiction that slowly stole everything I valued.
Part 04 / Deepening Darkness
I lost far more than opportunities. I lost my identity, my family's trust, meaningful relationships, my home, and any belief that I had a future worth fighting for. In 2013, I moved from the United Kingdom to South Africa hoping a change of country would change my life. Instead, my addiction deepened until I completely lost myself, experienced psychosis, and reached a place where hope no longer existed.

Part 05 / The Turning Point
In 2020, I was admitted into rehabilitation for the third time, and that decision became the turning point of my life.
Part 06 / Finding Community
After successfully completing my programme in July 2023, I joined Victory Village Sober Living Community where I discovered hope, healing, accountability, purpose, and a family that refused to give up on me.

Part 07 / Giving Back
Today, I have the privilege of walking alongside other men on their recovery journey as House Manager. I am deeply, and forever, grateful to Freddy, Lizzette, the entire Victory Village team, and everyone who believed in me when I couldn't believe in myself.
Part 08 / A New Beginning
My relationships continue to be restored, I am growing every day, and I now choose to live a life filled with gratitude, purpose, and significance. My story is living proof that addiction does not have to have the final say. No matter how broken you feel or how far you've fallen, recovery is possible, hope is real, and a new beginning is always within reach.
